QA Engineer / VMware / Enterprise

About the role

The QA Engineer will be part of a growing Quality Assurance team at a leading enterprise software organization. This role supports multiple flagship products used in large-scale Windows and virtualized environments.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on manual testing across desktop, infrastructure, and cloud based systems
• Work on a completely redesigned user interface
• Test real-world enterprise deployments
• Help shape how QA evolves as the organization prepares for future automation initiatives
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a hands-on QA or Software Testing role
• Strong experience testing Windows based applications
• Ability to create clear, repeatable, and deterministic test cases
• Experience executing smoke, regression, and exploratory testing
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Qualifications

• Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere / ESXi, VDI environments)
• Experience testing in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
• Basic Linux familiarity (testing and environment awareness)
• Prior experience supporting UAT or working closely with end users
• Interest in test case management tools and process improvement
