What You'll Do
- Partner with Customer Success: Work closely with Customer Success Managers to understand client workflows, identify quality gaps, and ensure smooth solution delivery.
- Build & run tests: Design, implement, and execute manual and automated tests for client-facing workflows across our web platform, writing robust, maintainable scripts in Python (Selenium) to validate workflows, integrations, and configurations.
- Own test planning: Own test planning for client-specific features — writing clear test cases and sanity scenarios even without detailed specs — and lead exploratory testing, regression cycles, and release validations before client rollouts.
- Root-cause issues: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to reproduce client-reported issues, root-cause them, and verify fixes.
- Represent QA to clients: Proactively surface gaps, edge cases, and risks in client implementations, and act as the client-facing QA representative during solution validation to ensure confidence in delivery and post-deployment success.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 3–5 years in Software QA (manual + automation), ideally with exposure to client-facing or Customer Success workflows.
- QA foundations: Strong understanding of core QA principles (priority vs. severity, regression vs. sanity, risk-based testing).
- Automation skills: Hands-on experience writing automation scripts with Python (Selenium); modern frameworks (Playwright + TypeScript or equivalent) a strong plus.
- SaaS & integrations: Familiarity with SaaS workflows, integrations, and APIs (JSON, REST, etc.).
- Communication & mindset: Excellent communication to interface directly with clients, translate feedback into testable requirements, and clearly articulate risks and solutions — proactive, curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Good to have: Prior Customer Success, Professional Services, or client-facing QA experience; CI/CD pipelines, BDD/TDD frameworks, and test data management; security, performance, or accessibility testing; and familiarity with no-code platforms or workflow automation tools.
