QA Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join our Remote Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our remote development features and related products. You will take ownership of testing processes within your areas of responsibility, navigate ambiguity effectively, and proactively contribute to product quality improvements. Your work will involve designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in quality assurance and testing methodologies
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Ability to read and understand Java or Kotlin code
• Experience working within cross-functional teams
• Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts efficiently
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage workload independently
• Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks
• Familiarity with UI test automation and scripting
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, exploratory, regression, and acceptance testing to ensure product quality and stability
• Investigate, document, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution and verification
• Develop and expand manual test case scenarios, keeping existing test cases up to date
• Take ownership of complex testing areas and drive quality enhancement initiatives
• Monitor automated test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and improve test reliability
• Contribute to UI test automation by maintaining and extending automated test suites using established frameworks
• Collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders to clarify requirements and identify potential risks
• Update and share knowledge within the team to foster continuous improvement
• Work with support teams to reproduce and analyze user-reported issues
