QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Cook up and carry out inbound and production checks with production.
• Build bridges with customers or third-party inspectors.
• Take part in external supplier quality tests and audits.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events.
• Keep tabs on product portfolio Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to close gaps.
• Lead customer witness inspections.
• Collect and analyze data to inform management and stakeholders on the status of processes or product quality.
• Spread awareness among leadership about new opportunities and how to capitalize on them.
• Collaborate with departments or other company units to solve issues related to QC activities.
• Hand over documents as per Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) to customers after coordinating with internal departments and resolving all documentation queries.

Requirements

• Have experience in engineering and using Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
• Be familiar with product/process flow.
• Show strong organizational skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and have 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in quality control department.
• Understanding of product/process flow.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
