QA Automation Framework Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems.
• Partner with development teams to expand test coverage.
• Embed automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Accelerate confident software delivery.
• Combine strong hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks with a clear understanding of testing strategy, including risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing in Agile environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Four or more years of QA automation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Hands-on experience automating REST APIs.
• A strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid SQL skills for data validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Solid debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Required qualifications include:
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
• Knowledge of containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Exposure to behavior-driven development frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
• Familiarity with security testing fundamentals (OWASP, basic penetration testing).

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks.
• Clear understanding of testing strategy, including risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing in Agile environments.
