QA Automation Engineer

About the role

A QA Automation Engineer is needed to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, or similar tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and integrate automation into the development lifecycle
• Execute automated tests to identify defects and bugs in the software
• Document test cases and results, and maintain test databases
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation opportunities
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in QA Automation
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C#, and familiarity with SQL
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of API testing and RESTful services
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
