About The Role
As a QA Automation Engineer – Healthcare, you will make an impact by ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise healthcare payer applications built on the Pega platform. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and Agile delivery teams to deliver high-quality solutions supporting mission-critical business processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing across Pega-based healthcare applications.
- Validate data migration processes involving Teradata, Snowflake, Oracle, and PostgreSQL environments.
- Perform API, cloud, and Kafka integration testing while ensuring end-to-end system quality.
- Develop and execute automated test suites using Tosca and other automation tools while managing defects and test execution through Jira and qTest.
Requirements
- Strong experience testing applications built on Pega Infinity 25.x.
- Expertise in manual functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL database testing, including complex data validation activities.
- Experience validating data migration processes involving Teradata and Snowflake platforms.
- Experience in cloud testing, including private AWS environments and ingress/egress configurations.
- Hands-on experience with Tosca (Tricentis) for model-based test automation.
- Experience performing API and service validation using Postman, Ready API, or similar tools.
- Experience testing event-driven integrations using Confluent Kafka and Test containers.
- Experience working in Agile environments with sprint-based delivery cycles.
- Strong experience with defect and test management tools such as Jira and qTest.
Qualifications
- Healthcare Payer domain experience.
- Experience supporting Medicare and Medicaid business processes.
- Experience with Appeals & Grievances (A&G) systems.
- Understanding of CMS regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with large-scale healthcare transformation programs.
Skills

Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $44,834 to $76,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
