Onsite full-time role in Jersey City, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
- Perform UI, API, and database testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Create, maintain, troubleshoot, and debug automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Write, execute, and analyze SQL queries for test validation.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, test estimation, execution, and retrospectives.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases for complete functional coverage.
- Test web-based and client/server applications.
- Manage defect lifecycle and adhere to software quality best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Requirements
- 8 to 15 years of experience in QA, with 5-7 years of hands-on expertise in test automation.
- 5-10 years of experience in automation testing with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and Selenium.
- Proficient in Typescript/JavaScript.
- Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as HP ALM, ALM Octane, or Jira.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing lifecycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective testing strategies.
- Flexible, proactive, and capable of handling ad hoc assignments in a fast-paced environment.
