QA Automation Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior-Level Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. This fully remote, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience
• U.S. residency for at least 3 of the past 5 years and authorized to work in the U.S. (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or EAD)
• Able to pass a federal/state background check and obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and strategies (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, Jest, Cypress)
• Proficiency in SQL database design, querying, and optimization
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript development
• Experience with React and Next.js frameworks
• Comfort with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
• Understanding of relational databases and ORMs like Entity Framework Core or Dapper
• Experience developing, consuming, and testing RESTful Web APIs
• Familiarity with version control workflows using Git
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features across the full application lifecycle, utilizing .NET backends and React/Next.js frontends
• Architect and implement automated testing suites, including unit and integration tests, to ensure high code quality and stability
• Create efficient, clean SQL queries, design relational database schemas, and optimize database performance
• Write interactive, type-safe UI components using TypeScript and modern frontend architectures
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, automate testing, and enhance engineering productivity
• Collaborate with product owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and iterate on solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Develop and test RESTful Web APIs, ensuring secure and scalable integrations
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and incorporate best practices into development processes
