QA Automation Engineer

About the role

A QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure software quality. This role requires strong knowledge of automation frameworks, scripting languages (such as Python, Java), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test cases using Selenium, Appium, or other relevant tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline
• Execute automated tests to identify bugs and performance issues, and document findings
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test scripts and processes
• Stay updated with the latest automation tools and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in QA Automation
• Proficiency in at least one automation framework (Selenium, Appium)
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java
• Knowledge of CI/CD systems and tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
