About The Role We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at ComResource. In this role, you will be integral to our quality engineering efforts, working within an Agile squad to develop and implement automated testing frameworks, strategies, and processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality software by designing robust automation solutions that cover UI, API, database, and data validation testing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to identify testing needs, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve testing practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced AI-driven automation tools and contribute to the development of scalable, maintainable testing frameworks that enhance overall product quality and reliability. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in banking domain systems, with expertise in commercial loan processes, customer onboarding, funding, loan servicing, and collateral management. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript is essential, along with solid understanding of SQL and database systems like DB2 and Snowflake. Hands-on experience with API testing tools (ReadyAPI, Postman) and automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, WebdriverIO) is required. Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins is also necessary. Candidates should have experience working within Agile development environments and be adept at test management tools such as Digital.ai or qTest. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders are vital for success in this role. Responsibilities Work as part of an Agile squad, leading quality engineering efforts while collaborating closely with the squad, chapter, and tribe.Take ownership of test strategy, test planning, framework implementation, and test execution within the Agile environment.Develop high-quality, reusable framework components and maintainable test automation code using a variety of automation tools, including AI for self-healing locators, AI for failure analysis, and AI for visual validation.Design and implement structured, clean, and cohesive test automation and exploration tests for all new features and functional changes, organized into repeatable test suites covering user interface and API layers.Author test cases in test management tools and ensure comprehensive coverage.Efficiently reproduce reported software issues, analyze data, and collaborate with team members to resolve obstacles and maintain delivery timelines.Drive automation initiatives for API and web services testing, web UI, data extract scripts, database testing, and test data management.Conduct exploratory testing when necessary to identify potential issues beyond scripted tests.Partner openly with squad members to share ideas, raise concerns, and adhere to quality governance standards.
