About The Role
As an QA Automation Architect, you will make an impact by shaping enterprise-scale automation and GenAI-powered testing solutions across the software development lifecycle. You will be a valued member of the delivery and engineering teams, collaborating closely with cross-functional leaders, architects, and key stakeholders to define and implement strategic automation capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Build and validate automation solutions across the STLC, including UI/API automation using GenAI-assisted coding.
- Design and enhance solutions for test data mining and intelligent test generation.
- Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of automation frameworks, pipelines, and prompt engineering models.
- Contribute to cross-functional automation initiatives and Proofs of Concept across the software lifecycle.
- Define the Automation & GenAI adoption roadmap aligned with client goals and transformation priorities.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and recommend suitable vendors, platforms, and technologies.
- Advocate for responsible automation practices, governance standards, and model management frameworks.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and provide governance across automation programs.
- Mentor teams on automation engineering and GenAI best practices.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in automation and GenAI, continuously identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
Requirements
- 15+ years of testing experience with strong expertise in UI/API test automation frameworks and engineering.
- Proven experience working directly with CIO-level leaders.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to architect enterprise automation solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
