QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

3Qi Labs is a Test Automation Solutions & Services company with over 10 million tests conducted on our API, Mobile & Web Automation platform, Awetest. We are seeking a Software Test Automation Analyst based in San Francisco, CA to execute quality assurance test plans, develop test cases, and create test scripts for software development projects. This role supports the planning, design, and execution of all system testing and offers an opportunity to build and enhance skills in full-stack functional and automation testing on large-scale enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and usability.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments.
• Identify defects using automated test suites that simulate user interactions, and document step-by-step reproduction flows for reported problems.
• Perform the complete Software Testing Lifecycle: requirement gathering, creation of automation test cases, execution, and reporting.
• Collaborate within project teams to support various testing phases across different environments and user levels.
• Follow up with teams during performance project reporting to assess tool stability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience writing test automation scripts with deep knowledge of functional and API testing.
• Hands-on experience with at least one object-oriented language, such as C++, C#, Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screens, and content.
