We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:
Responsibilities
- Work on an agile team based on 2-week sprints, performing data research and ETL development.
- Migrate data processes to the cloud, including coding and unit testing before releasing data to production.
- Perform data research, user acceptance testing (UAT), and unit testing.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing processes using Java, TestNG, Selenium, and Appium.
- Analyze existing QA practices and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Maintain and execute manual smoke and regression scripts to ensure new code or releases do not introduce errors.
- Document and track test results in accordance with defined processes.
- Investigate problems and develop corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
- Recommend process optimizations and modifications.
- Interface with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
- Develop technical work documents for controlled work packages.
Requirements
- 6-9 years of experience with object-oriented design and coding in a variety of languages.
- Prior experience in the Personalization domain is a plus.
- Expertise in Java, with a solid understanding of data structures and common algorithms.
- Experience in parallel and distributed systems.
- Good knowledge of SOA and microservices architecture, with hands-on experience designing and implementing REST/SOAP web services/APIs.
- Hands-on experience with application design, data management, and automated testing.
- Exposure to Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Shell, JavaScript, ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, Redis, MongoDB, NoSQL, DB2) is an added advantage.
- Self-starter with the ability to question the status quo and manage ambiguity.
- Strong analytical and excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and apply them effectively.
- Experience with UNIX Shell scripting, SQL, and ETL development.
- Proficiency in Python, SAS, Java, AWS, and Snowflake is preferred.
- For the role related to the Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing teams and/or programs related to hazard mitigation, safety performance metrics, safety culture, and the electrical utility sector.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- PMP Certification.
- Experience with the electrical utility industry.
- Proven track record of leading safety improvements and achieving measurable safety performance outcomes.
- Proficiency in Apex and VisualForce (Apex classes, triggers, Apex batch processes, Apex Web services and APIs, Visualforce Pages, Visualforce Components & Controllers, test coverage classes, and JavaScript).
- Lightning Platform experience and configuration.
- Excellent understanding of Salesforce SOQL and SOSL.
- Exposure to the SFDC data model, data architecture, and data management.
- Thorough understanding of DevOps and change management processes.
Skills
- DataStage development.
- UNIX Shell scripting and SQL.
- ETL development.

- SFDC data model and data architecture.

Qualifications
- Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
- Experience in software testing, including Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.
- Ability to write and execute acceptance tests, test cases, and automated test scripts.
