Python Platform Engineer for an Intraday Strategy execution platform

About the role

A global asset management firm is seeking a senior engineer to develop and optimize a strategy execution platform for live intraday trading strategies. The role involves migrating an existing Desk solution to a robust scheduler to ensure low-latency, guaranteed execution of trading strategies. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for designing and promoting the target state in AWS, leveraging PCF REST services to integrate on-premises APIs.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing Desk solution to a robust scheduler for low-latency execution of trading strategies
• Design and promote the target state in AWS
• Leverage PCF REST services to bridge on-premises APIs

Requirements

• Strong Python experience
• Deep knowledge of performance, scheduling, resource management, monitoring, Linux, hardware, AWS, and Dask
• Experience with Beacon/Athena/Quartz, PCF is a plus
