Python/Java Developer

About the role

The role involves implementing business solutions across PBMRT, contributing to the design, development, and completion of project deliverables, and assisting in investigating production issues.

Responsibilities

• Work with business users to prioritize work items
• Analyze and understand existing data, job flows, and components
• Aid in investigating production issues and providing solutions
• Provide recommendations for new solutions to existing problems or challenges
• Collaborate with multiple teams in different locations and time zones
• Document solutions to issues and business and testing requirements using JIRA

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communications, comfortable working with different levels of management, high attention to detail
• AI-first SDLC cycle approach
• Sense of ownership and personally vested in success of the project and to be self-driven
• Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines
• Understanding of agile methodologies
• Experience and proficiency in data management, including strong data analytical capability
• Ability to engage and leverage teams and business partners to efficiently deliver business solutions
• Application development experience in Java and Python, SQL
• Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in the banking industry
• Financial products experience is required
• Risk and product evaluation knowledge is a plus

Desired Skills

• Experience and understanding of risk and product evaluation
• Experience in using Co-pilot for agent-first development
• Experience in managing CI/CD infrastructure in Bitbucket/Jenkins
• Manage Java project dependencies with Maven and related utilities

Pay Range and Benefits
