Python Developer - Machine Learning & Big Data

About the role

The Python Developer - Machine Learning & Big Data role at Rose International is responsible for performing data mining, developing end-to-end Machine Learning prototypes, designing state-of-the-art Machine Learning algorithms, building data classification models, creating interactive dashboards, and providing third-line support.

Responsibilities

• Perform data mining by manipulating and drawing insights from large unstructured datasets.
• Develop end-to-end Machine Learning prototypes and scale them to run in production environments.
• Including data cleaning, pre-processing, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and prediction generation.
• Design and work on state-of-the-art Machine Learning algorithms to build a data classification model.
• Built interactive dashboards and integrated them with the model's training and validation pipelines.
• Aid in the development of a product or product component within the technology domain.
• Assist with the development of application/system requirements and processes.
• Support projects and provide project status updates to the project manager or Sr. Engineer.
• Partner with development teams to identify engineering requirements.
• Provide third-line support to identify the root cause of issues and react to systems and application outages or networking issues.

• Participate in operational process change and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in Python development with hands-on experience in Big Data technologies (2-5 yrs).
• Experience building Machine Learning models using Python and related frameworks (2-5 yrs).
• Experience with data analysis, model deployment, and cloud-based development tools (2-5 yrs).
• Expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Statistical Analysis and Computing, Data Visualization, Data Wrangling, Data Modelling and Evaluation, Model Deployment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities, and related reporting to identify best practices.
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
• Proven track record of operational process change and improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Python, R, MATLAB, SQL.
• Frameworks: PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Plotly, Flask, Tableau, Keras, stats models.
• Tools and Services: Docker, AWS (Amazon Web Services), Apache Spark, Git.
