Python Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our engineering team in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python application development, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and database management. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Python and related technologies.
• Design, implement, and test RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data management and retrieval.
• Participate in Agile development practices, including unit testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Contribute to the design and implementation of microservices architecture where applicable.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python programming.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
• Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.

• Exposure to AI/ML or Data Engineering projects is a plus.

Work Location

Santa Clara, CA – Onsite (Monday to Friday)

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, or data processing pipelines.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Preference

Candidates who are local to the Bay Area or willing to relocate immediately. Experience working in semiconductor, manufacturing, or enterprise software environments is highly preferred.
