About the Role

We are seeking a talented Python Developer with proficiency in Golang to join our dynamic team in McLean, VA, on a hybrid work basis. This role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about building scalable backend services and microservices, leveraging cloud technologies to deliver high-quality software solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support our clients' digital transformation initiatives. Your expertise in Python and Golang, coupled with experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our projects. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services utilizing Python and Golang, adhering to clean architecture principles and best coding practices.
• Create high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices that are reliable, secure, and optimized for low latency.
• Collaborate with product managers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance by refining algorithms, managing concurrency, and improving memory usage, especially in Golang-based services.
• Implement data processing workflows, automation scripts, and backend logic using Python frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Integrate backend services with databases, message queues, and third-party APIs to ensure seamless data flow and system integration.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and integration tests; participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and system reliability.
• Deploy applications to cloud environments such as AWS, monitor their performance, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and utilize containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for efficient application management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Python development, with a strong understanding of frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Solid proficiency in Golang, with experience in building high-performance microservices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Experience with RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Understanding of databases, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience with data integration and message queues.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize code for performance and scalability.
