The Role We are looking for a Healthcare Data Developer with strong Snowflake, SQL and Python skills to support the development and testing of healthcare fee schedules. This role will work with healthcare claims data and business requirements to develop data transformations, implement pricing and reimbursement logic, and validate results. Work You’ll Do Develop and maintain healthcare fee schedule solutions using Snowflake, SQL, and PythonTranslate business and reimbursement requirements into technical logic and data transformationsAnalyze healthcare claims data to support fee schedule development and validationDevelop SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing, transformation, validation, and automationImplement and validate pricing logic based on business requirementsPerform functional, regression, integration, and data validation testingCompare expected versus actual pricing results and investigate discrepanciesIdentify and troubleshoot issues related to data, business rules, or technical implementationDevelop automated validation processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of fee schedule testingWork with business stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify pricing rulesSupport UAT and resolve issues identified during business testingPerform data reconciliation and identify gaps or inconsistencies in fee schedule coverageSupport deployment and post-production validationCollaborate with data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and onshore/offshore development teamsDocument technical logic, testing procedures, and validation resultsOther duties as assigned Requirements 3+ years of experience in healthcare data, claims processing, healthcare analytics, data engineering, or a related fieldStrong Snowflake and SQL skillsStrong Python skills for data processing, transformation, validation, and automationExperience working with healthcare claims dataExperience with data validation, testing, or QA.Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with technical and business teamsWillingness to engage in direct client interaction, including travel to client locationsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship Preferred Requirements Experience with healthcare fee schedules or reimbursement methodologiesKnowledge of CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, revenue codes, DRGs/APR-DRGs, NPI, and TINExperience with professional and institutional claims managementExperience with healthcare payer dataExperience developing automated testing or validation using PythonFamiliarity with Git, Jira, and Agile development practicesBased in Chicago, IL, and flexible to work from our Chicago office as needed Compensation & Benefits Flexible PTO, monthly half-day refuels, volunteer time off, 10 paid holidaysOwn Your Day flexible work policyCompetitive majority employer-paid benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K MatchGenerous paid parental leave optionsEmployer-paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term DisabilityCharitable contribution matching programNew client commission opportunities and referral bonus programBike share discount programThe estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. In addition to this base salary, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This range is a part of a competitive, total compensation package together with our majority employer-paid benefits and incentive pay for eligible roles. Please note that this range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary due to numerous factors, including but not limited to experience level, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
