Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain scalable, secure Python-based APIs
- Integrate AI/ML models and pipelines into operational mission applications
- Deploy, optimize, and monitor solutions using AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, data, and DevSecOps teams to ensure seamless system and application integration
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in alignment with Quevera engineering practices
- Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement within agile sprint cycles
Required Qualifications
- Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of Python in FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience in FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and scaling production APIs
- Hands-on experience deploying, securing, and monitoring applications in AWS
- Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models into production applications or services
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative mindset
Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
