Overview

Responsibilities
- Properly receive, store, and issue all food and beverage products under the guidance of the storeroom manager.
- Inspect and unpack all merchandise received, and stock it accordingly.
- Assist the storeroom manager in organizing the storeroom by sorting items as directed.
- Pricing and dating groceries and canned goods using a "pricing gun," ensuring first in/first out (FIFO) rotation.
- Fulfill storeroom manager's requisitions and assist in end-of-month inventories.
- Ensure all unauthorized persons are off premises, verify requisitions for proper authorization, and inspect refrigeration units for deviations from set temperatures and quality deterioration.
- Clean all storerooms and adhere to Omni Hotels operating procedures and local health regulations.
- Follow up on out of stocks or goods not received "items."
- Lock all coolers/storerooms before departure at the end of the day.
Qualifications
- Flexible to work AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer operation skills.
