Purchasing Specialist II

About the role

SEKISUI Diagnostics is seeking a Purchasing Specialist II to join their team in San Diego. This role involves supporting supplier relationships and ensuring materials are available when needed, working directly with suppliers to place orders, complete supplier qualifications and reviews, maintain approved supplier records, and create or update material specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage changing priorities and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiently use Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including pivot tables and filters) and Word.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems.
• Enjoy working with data, identifying trends, and collaborating across teams.
• Bring a customer-focused, team-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Highly organized and able to manage changing priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including pivot tables and filters) and Word.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems.
• Enjoys working with data, identifying trends, and collaborating across teams.
• Brought a customer-focused, team-oriented mindset.
• Medical diagnostics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.

SEKISUI Diagnostics offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

• Hourly rate: $29.50 - $31.73
• Annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits.
• The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.

Pay

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $29.50- $31.73. This role may also qualify for annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.

Schedule

This is a fully onsite role based in our San Diego, CA office.
