Purchasing Specialist

Manage inventory, purchasing activities, planning, forecasting and meeting the overall supply demands of Kiss Group. A Purchasing Specialist supports the procurement process by researching and sourcing goods and services from vendors, placing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely receipt of items needed for operations while adhering to budget constraints and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Review and determine required inventory and release purchase orders.
• Manage optimal inventory levels across all plants.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing to acquire inventory cost‑effectively and on time.
• Monitor and control purchase orders, updating delivery schedules for related teams.
• Work with the supply chain manager to maintain inventory levels and materials.
• Communicate effectively with sales to ensure all orders are fulfilled.
• Compare and analyze price, quality, availability, and terms of suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Evaluate product and supplier quality.
• Ensure suppliers continuously meet or exceed company expectations and needs.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and supplier interaction.
• Negotiation skills to improve deals with suppliers.
• Understanding of purchase order software platforms and MRP systems.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate purchase orders.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Math skills for accurate calculations and loss prevention.
• IT skills to troubleshoot essential computer programs.

Education

Bachelor of Arts (B.A) – Required
Bachelor of Science (B.S) – Required

Experience

2 – 4 years of relevant experience or industry exposure in a related field.

Pay

The anticipated compensation range is $21.50 – $39.75 USD hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, education, experience, and location, and may change based on internal and external factors.
