Purchasing Specialist

About the role

The Material Purchasing Agent will be responsible for managing branch inventories and ordering.

Responsibilities

• Review and assist in purchasing
• Vendor pricing and sell price maintenance
• Perform branch inventories
• Process daily cycle counts
• Setting up new products
• Month-end reporting
• Negotiate and oversee corporate and local buys
• Some travel required

Requirements

• Purchasing experience
• Building material experience preferred
• Ability to manage different responsibilities with routine interruptions
• MS Excel & Word skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Dependable and on-time
