Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a Buyer/Purchasing professional with 5–10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing-related environment. This role focuses on managing complex commodities and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and procurement processes, including quoting, negotiating, placing orders, expediting, and resolving quality and delivery issues.
• Work with supply chain and purchasing software systems for ordering, tracking, and managing procurement activities.
• Read and comprehend blueprints and technical drawings to ensure purchased components meet required specifications.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and 2–3 years of related experience.
• Strong experience in manufacturing quality or experience in automotive, agricultural, vehicle, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work on-site at a manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE (no remote work option).

Schedule

• Approximately 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Flexibility to adjust hours or work occasional Saturdays as needed.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year. Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
