The function of this position is to coordinate the material planning of various locations for Knock Down Import parts shipped directly to HDMA plants and/or local suppliers. The role is responsible for managing the ordering and inventory control of those Knock Down parts, and assure timely delivery to various International Supply Chain Import (Regional Logistics Center (RLC) customers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and ordering of Knock Down Import parts shipped directly to HDMA plants and/or local suppliers.
- Thorough understanding and accurate maintenance of International Import process related systems.
- Coordinate with CC to ensure timely receipt, packing, and delivery of products to desired customer (Supplier or HDMA facility).
- Establish and maintain communication networks with supply base to promote positive relationship focused on delivery performance.
- Strive for continuous improvement through cycling Plan Do Check Action (PDCA) for area of responsibility to ensure associate success
