Purchasing Solutions Manager

About the role
This hybrid position requires 3 days on-site per week in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. The Purchasing Solutions Manager maintains national governance by assisting divisions with new community setup in EnterpriseOne (E1), providing ongoing support, and offering business-process guidance to divisional purchasing teams. The role ensures consistent, enterprise-wide setup to improve efficiency, troubleshooting, and process streamlining.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of setup for each trade and collaborate with Division teams to facilitate new community setup.
- Focus on consistent, enterprise-wide setup to facilitate maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Partner with Division teams to validate data and adhere to deadlines for on-time community openings.
- Engage with end users to implement national purchasing strategies and assist with setup transitions for new option/item numbers.
- Review and revise Division setup (e.g., rules, valid values) as product changes occur to ensure timely transitions.
- Suggest alternate setup solutions based on approved use cases and complete E1 update processes when class codes are adjusted.
- Monitor E1 Purchasing Teams channel to provide end-user support on system functionality and Toll’s ways of working.
- Identify opportunities for documentation updates and additional end-user training.
- Document Purchasing setup processes and trade strategies to aid future setup and troubleshooting.
- Review stakeholder and user requirements to implement Purchasing solutions within E1.
- Provide recommendations on business processes and information flow to improve Purchasing efficiency.
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of enhancements to existing applications.
- Test enhancements from a user perspective to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
- Perform testing to confirm issue resolution prior to production implementation.
- Troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues with integrated platforms.
- Support Phase 2 EnterpriseOne conversion for legacy Toll Divisions and future acquisitions.
- Collaborate with other functional areas including cost code mapping, trade code validation, program assortment, and data validation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Residential Purchasing or a relevant role in the residential building sector.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
- Functional working knowledge of EnterpriseOne (E1).
Preferred Skills
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand estimating takeoffs.
- Experience with EnterpriseOne (E1) Homebuilder Sales Solution (HBSS).
- Experience with Hyphen Solutions BuildPro software.
