About the role
The Purchasing Manager oversees material purchasing, vendor coordination, and project support for residential remodeling and design-build projects. They help ensure materials, products, and selections are available when needed to keep projects moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee material purchasing and vendor coordination
- Support project managers, designers, suppliers, and clients
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, supporting 10–15 active projects at a time
Requirements
- Highly organized and proactive
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of construction industry practices and standards
