Purchasing Manager

About the role

The Purchasing Manager oversees material purchasing, vendor coordination, and project support for residential remodeling and design-build projects. They help ensure materials, products, and selections are available when needed to keep projects moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material purchasing and vendor coordination
• Support project managers, designers, suppliers, and clients
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, supporting 10–15 active projects at a time

Requirements

• Highly organized and proactive
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management
• Experience with project management software and tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of construction industry practices and standards

Pay

$65,000 – $75,000 base salary based on experience
