About the role
The Purchasing Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the reliable supply of products and materials sourced from external suppliers. This position is a full-time on-site role at a manufacturing operation supporting the day-to-day execution of Newton Beverage Solutions’ strategic supply chain vision.
Responsibilities
- Developing preferred supplier relationships
- Driving continuous improvement in Supplier Quality, Supplier Delivery, Supplier Landed Cost YOY reduction, and Supplier Engagement (through LeanDNA supplier portal utilization, TWC, tariff mitigation, etc.)
Qualifications
- Experience working onsite in a manufacturing operation
- Strategic sourcing, new product development, product launch experience
- Experience in supplier development and contract negotiation
- Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement software
- Proficiency in intelligent supply chain execution platform LeanDNA (a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities/VAVE certification (a plus)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related fields
- Minimum of 10 years supply chain experience
