This isn’t a behind-the-scenes, autopilot purchasing role. Our Purchasing & Import Specialist owns the details that keep our global supply chain moving—managing purchase orders, coordinating with international suppliers, and handling the realities of imports, compliance, and timing. If you’re someone who takes pride in getting it right and keeping things moving, you’ll do well here. This position requires primarily onsite work and is not fully remote. Hybrid eligibility may be available at a later time.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute and manage purchase orders, supporting domestic and international suppliers from order placement through deliveryPartner with internal teams to align purchasing activity with supply, demand, and inventory requirementsManage end‑to‑end international import operations, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods across global bordersOversee customs clearance activities, including classification (HS codes), country of origin determinations, and duty managementMonitor regulatory and trade compliance changes; assess business impact and implement necessary process updatesTrack, analyze, and interpret purchasing and import data to identify cost‑savings opportunities and operational improvementsDevelop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to support data‑driven decision‑making across purchasing and import workflowsSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels, reduce cost, and increase efficiency across the supply chainRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Procurement, or a related field.5+ years of experience in international supply chain roles with hands‑on responsibility for imports/customs operations and international purchasing or supplier coordinationStrong working knowledge of import regulations, trade compliance, customs documentation, and clearance processesDemonstrated experience managing international purchase orders, supplier communication, and order execution from placement through deliveryWorking knowledge of Incoterms, landed cost components, and global transportation modesExperience partnering with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international suppliersProven ability to manage multiple priorities across purchasing and import timelines in a fast‑paced environmentStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skillsProficiency with ERP systems and supply chain, logistics, or trade management toolsAdditional / Nice‑to‑Have QualificationsExperience with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and import proceduresLicensed Customs Broker certification or progress toward certificationAPICS, CSCMP, or other supply chain or trade‑related certificationsBenefitsBathing Brands offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our teammates’ health, financial well-being, and work–life balance, including:Company-subsidized medical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid life insurance, with voluntary disability and supplemental coverage options401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO) and paid company holidaysCommunity Day for volunteer serviceEmployee referral programFull benefit eligibility and details are shared during the offer processAbout Bathing BrandsWe’re not just building bathing products—we’re building intentional experiences.
