Purchasing Data Entry Specialist
Job Summary
DeBra-Kuempel is seeking a Purchasing Data Entry Specialist for our Cincinnati, Ohio location. This role supports a dynamic team of seven in a fast-paced environment, handling high-volume data entry and vendor communications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately enter large volumes of alphanumeric data, including purchase orders, subcontracts, and change order requests, into Edge, a web-based procurement system
- Collect and input necessary information for new vendor and subcontractor setup
- Conduct invoice research, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely entry
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal staff at all organizational levels, including management
- Contact vendors to collect outstanding invoices
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two (2) or more years of data entry experience
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of invoices and purchase order requests efficiently and accurately
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, OneNote, Excel)
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat is a plus
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
- Valid driver’s license required
