About the role

The Student Program at Nexteer Automotive offers high‑potential students meaningful opportunities to apply classroom learning in a professional environment while gaining hands‑on experience and valuable industry exposure. This is a Student Co‑op position located in Saginaw, MI. This position supports Global Supply Management (GSM) activities.

Responsibilities

• Send service invoices for approval
• Printing invoices
• Scanning of invoices
• Work Po confirmations weekly
• Vendor changes – banking, address
• New Vendor set ups
• Onboard new suppliers, ensuring proper documentation is received and filed
• Inform, educate and train suppliers on how to login to Nexteer’s supplier portal
• Send items for Quote
• Provide Quote Recaps
• Assist and support buyers with projects as needed

Requirements

• Candidate must be attending a 2‑year college or 4‑year university local to Saginaw
• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business or Supply Chain Management
• Candidate must be able to work 20‑32 hours during Fall and Winter semesters (up to 40 hours in the summer)
• Must have cumulative 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale
• Must be a full‑time student (12 or more credits) during Fall and Winter semesters
• Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Products (Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, SQL)
• Candidate must have excellent Communication, Documentation Skills and attention to detail
• Candidate must have right to work in the US and not require current or future sponsorship
