About the role
The Purchasing Clerk position at Dixon Quick Coupling, a division of The Dixon Group, is available in Dallas, NC. This role supports procurement efforts for the Dixon Quick Coupling division.
Responsibilities
- Work with company software to generate forecasts and safety stock levels
- Generate accurate purchase orders for factory stock and shop supplies
- Expedite urgent orders
- Aid in finding appropriate and qualified vendors
- Collaborate with engineering and vendors on quality issues
- Work with Accounts Payable to reconcile invoice/purchase order errors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of administrative experience
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer skills (proficient in all Microsoft Office applications)
- Strong sense of professionalism, customer service skills, and a self-starter work ethic
