Purchasing Assistant Manager
About the role
This role manages the receiving, documenting and storage process and issues procedures outlined in the policies and procedures manuals, ensuring product pricing, rotation, and inventory levels and storage area sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Verifies all incoming goods with delivery orders, invoices, food specifications, and purchase records to ensure accuracy in type, quantity, price, and quality of items.
- Upholds safe, sanitary, and well-organized storage practices for all items.
- Oversees inventory to optimize stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
- Implements inventory control measures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborates with Storeroom Clerk to ensure the fulfillment of all beverage requisitions and requests from the outlets.
- Oversees the cleanliness and maintenance of all receiving areas to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and Four Seasons standards.
- Maintains constant communication with the operations team on the timing of deliveries and availability of products.
- Assists the Director of Purchasing in overseeing daily operations.
- Contributes to monthly inventory processes for the hotel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or equivalent experience required.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Must have working knowledge of computers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office systems, including Word, Excel, and procurement software and systems.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and have the ability to stand for 8 hours.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Possess the ability to work autonomously.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the United States.

Pay
Salaried compensation of $77,250 annually
Schedule & Hours
This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate must be willing to work flexible hours and days of the week to support the essential functions of the department and division.
