Purchasing Assistant
The Purchasing Assistant Department reports to the Purchasing Manager. The primary responsibilities include:
- Handling purchasing department tasks such as filing and generating Purchase Orders (POs) for hand requisitions and MRO items submitted by all departments.
- Reviewing open POs to ensure vendor acknowledgments are received and updating each PO accordingly.
- Maintaining and organizing PO files.
- Occasionally meeting with vendors regarding business and product updates.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- A multitasking and time management capability with the ability to prioritize tasks.
