Purchasing Assistant
Responsibilities
- Order, track, and maintain appropriate inventory levels of parts and accessories to support operational needs.
- Update inventory data accurately in ERP and CRM systems, including MS Dynamics 365.
- Pick and pack internal transfer requests and process related transactions in the ERP system.
- Receive, label, and put away inbound products from vendor orders and internal transfers in a timely and organized manner.
- Verify vendor and internal paperwork for accuracy and post transactions in the ERP system.
- Process purchase orders for requests from multiple departments and send orders to vendors as required.
- Handle internal communication via email, Microsoft Teams, or designated reports to keep stakeholders informed.
- Deliver internal transfers to the appropriate departments as needed.
- Support the parts department with technical research and customer order fulfillment activities.
- Affirmatively participate in the cycle count program and participate in physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Perform related supply chain and administrative duties as business needs arise.
- Provide general support for material management activities across all departments, including purchasing, shipping, and receiving of parts and accessory inventory.
Requirements
- Experience with purchasing processes, including creating and processing purchase orders.
- Hands-on experience with inventory management, including tracking, receiving, and cycle counting.
- Proficiency with MS Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems for purchasing, inventory, and transaction processing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and basic analysis.
- Strong administrative support skills, including documentation, record-keeping, and follow-through.
- Ability to verify and process vendor and internal paperwork accurately.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with multiple departments via email, Microsoft Teams, and reports.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for handling multiple orders, transfers, and inventory tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing or parts/accessories environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking inventory and customer-related information.
- Ability to perform technical research to support parts identification and customer order fulfillment.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving inventory or order issues.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.70/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in a manufacturing environment.
