Assistant Store Manager
The Assistant Store Manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts supports the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the store team in providing excellent customer service.
- Serving as a backup during the Store Manager's absence or when working opposing shifts.
- Managing customer service levels and ensuring adequate staffing during peak times.
- Setting and evaluating team member goals, providing feedback, and coaching.
- Hiring new team members and processing recruitment tasks.
- Ensuring the store's telephone is operational and managing buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers.
- Processing returns and exchanges, issuing refunds, and managing merchandise invoices.
- Maintaining the store's appearance, equipment, and security.
- Performing store opening and closing duties, including day-end procedures and security checks.

Pay
The actual hourly rate equals or exceeds the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes performance, quarterly, and premium payments, which may vary based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
