Purchasing Agent
About the role
This position is responsible for the strategic management and oversight of all Purchasing activities for both Wayne, NJ & Orange, CT. The role encompasses end-to-end procurement responsibilities, including vendor relationship management, price negotiation, competitive bid administration, policy compliance and enforcement, spend portfolio optimization, contract execution oversight, and tactical purchasing support. Key objectives include driving cost savings, elevating strategic sourcing capabilities, ensuring adherence to global compliance standards, enhancing service delivery to internal stakeholders, and increasing the effective utilization of internal digital procurement tools.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of five years of demonstrated success in Procurement, Leadership, or Project Management
- Strong knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools
- Self-starter with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Effective under pressure, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leader who can perform effectively under pressure, champion change, and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders

Pay
The national pay range for this position is $81,500 to $126,500 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $89,650 to $139,150.
