About the role

Responsibilities
- Processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Receiving, analyzing, and processing purchase requisitions
- Ensuring goods or services are accurately ordered in compliance with company policies
- Handling purchase order related issues
- Sourcing quotes, bids, and proposals
- Facilitating the process to obtain comparable bids
- Providing specification and vendor identification assistance
- Identifying, analyzing, and recommending cooperative contracts
- Processing and maintaining purchasing documentation
- Reviewing contractual language for obligations or risks to the company
- Providing training and purchasing support
- Serving as project lead on procurements
- Managing vendor relations and conducting periodic reviews of vendor performance
- Evaluating current pricing of goods and services in the marketplace

Pay
- Purchasing Agent 1 - $51,184.00-$63,979.50
- Purchasing Agent 2 - $59,721.00-$74,654.00
- Senior Purchasing Agent - $80,192.00-$100,240.50
