Purchasing Agent

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders
• Receiving, analyzing, and processing purchase requisitions
• Ensuring goods or services are accurately ordered in compliance with company policies
• Handling purchase order related issues
• Sourcing quotes, bids, and proposals
• Facilitating the process to obtain comparable bids
• Providing specification and vendor identification assistance
• Identifying, analyzing, and recommending cooperative contracts
• Processing and maintaining purchasing documentation
• Reviewing contractual language for obligations or risks to the company
• Providing training and purchasing support
• Serving as project lead on procurements
• Managing vendor relations and conducting periodic reviews of vendor performance
• Evaluating current pricing of goods and services in the marketplace

Pay

• Purchasing Agent 1 - $51,184.00-$63,979.50
• Purchasing Agent 2 - $59,721.00-$74,654.00
• Senior Purchasing Agent - $80,192.00-$100,240.50
