Responsibilities
- Interface with internal stakeholders to evaluate goods and services required and execute purchase orders to fulfill company and/or project needs and fulfill customer requests.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality, and logistical expenses.
- Communicate and build professional relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate and organized records.
- Assess vendors and their offerings through in-person visits and analysis to assess quality of goods and services to established MCG quality standards.
- Negotiate sale agreements and supply contracts to the benefit and profitability of MCG.
- Cook up with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Authorize payments and manage purchasing expenses with meticulous record keeping.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- +1 years experience of customer service experience
- Preferred 3+ years’ experience with procurement responsibilities in a manufacturing or construction environment.
