Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position. This is an onsite role at the GA Telesis Composite Repair Facility in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; no remote or hybrid options are available.
Responsibilities
- Source and procure aviation parts, tools, and materials to support maintenance and repair operations.
- Evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders and track order statuses to ensure timely delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and company-specific regulations and quality standards (e.g., traceability, certifications, shelf-life requirements).
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to fulfill material requirements.
- Identify alternate suppliers to reduce lead times and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Resolve discrepancies related to orders, shipments, invoices, or quality issues.
- Maintain and update procurement records and supplier performance reports in the ERP/MRP system (Quantum).
- Assist with audits, documentation, and regulatory inspections as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in aviation or aerospace MRO.
- Experience using Quantum Control ERP/MRO software for purchasing, inventory management, and purchase order processing is required.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of aircraft parts and aviation-related procurement practices.
- Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations, traceability, and documentation standards.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
