Position Overview
This is a skilled position requiring the employee to perform a variety of tasks pertaining to the purchasing department and other office support functions.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Procure all types of materials required for company operations
- Place bids and ensure competitive pricing on all materials
- Make arrangements for deliveries to the requestor
- Track and maintain the procurement process of all materials
- Other duties will be assigned as needed within the purchasing department.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Basic Viewpoint system knowledge.
- Previous procurement experience.
- Basic knowledge of truck terminology and equipment.

Physical Requirements
- Rarely exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
