About the role

The Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Process purchase orders and manage inventory levels
  • Research and evaluate new suppliers and products
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
  • Prepare reports and maintain purchasing records

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with procurement software and systems

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise resource planning system is a plus

Skills

  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
