About the role
The Purchasing/Accounting Clerk supports the day-to-day accounting operations of KDF Technologies, a leading manufacturer of PVD capital equipment serving the microelectronics, medical, thin film circuit, and semiconductor industries.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments
- Generate customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections
- Perform data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system
- Maintain vendor and customer records
- Auxiliary month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and maintain accounting files, records, and documentation
- Support audits by gathering requested documentation and reports
- Assist with inventory and fixed asset recordkeeping as required
- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding payment status and account balances
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate accurate financial recordkeeping
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
