Puppy Raiser

About the role

Puppy raisers care for a dog for up to 6‑18 months and are responsible for day‑to‑day care, training and socializing the puppy in all environments. Volunteers must commit to attending bi‑weekly training classes in either Guelph, Cambridge or Hamilton and transport the puppy to scheduled vet appointments. Food, vet care and most equipment is provided. This opportunity is virtual/remote and can be done from anywhere; it is ongoing and you can start anytime. Requirements

• Minimum 16 years old
• Willing to undergo a background or police records check
• Access to a car
• Comfortable commuting to the opportunity location
