Pupil Support Assistant - Riverbank School - ABC13607
Location: Riverbank School (New address). Duration: Fixed Term, Part Time.
Roles that require PVG Membership: Candidates will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership if the full-time equivalent salary is £30,000 and above (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 10 and above, currently £30,030 per annum / £16.50 per hour). The Council will pay the PVG membership cost initially (£18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members) and deduct this from the employee’s first full month’s salary.
About the Role
To help promote effective learning, teaching, personal development, and an atmosphere where pupils can achieve to reach their potential under direction and supervision.
- Hold as a minimum PVG membership for regulated work with children and/or protected adults, or a willingness to obtain it prior to a formal offer of employment.
- Demonstrate proven oral communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- Show empathy, patience, and tolerance, and respond positively to a variety of additional support needs.
- Establish positive relationships with others.
