Punch Press Operator, Manufacturing - Omniseal Solution

About the role

The Punch Press Operator sets up and operates machines to fabricate spring stock according to work orders and drawings, ensuring safety and quality while loading raw material, setting up tooling dies, cycling the press, detecting equipment malfunctions, communicating with tooling teammates, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate punch press machines to fabricate spring stock per work order/drawing requirements.
• Load raw material and setup tooling dies in the machine.
• Cycle the press and monitor for malfunctions, including worn or damaged cutting tools.
• Review die and its components to ensure proper function.
• Run production work orders and communicate with tooling team and co-workers regarding production runs.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment as a Punch Press Operator.
• Ability to read blueprints (preferred).
• Good basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer experience required.

Pay

The position offers an hourly pay range of $22.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE). In addition to base pay, the role is eligible for standard overtime (1.5× hourly rate) and a quarterly bonus that can be up to 8% of the hourly rate based on company and individual performance.

Schedule

Work schedule is a 4/10 schedule, Monday–Thursday, 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
