Pump Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Experience in all phases of pump and motor disassembly, diagnosis, repair, reassembly, and testing.
• Repair and rebuild various pumps, motors, and rotating assemblies.
• Work is primarily performed at our repair facility for the water and wastewater industry.
• Maintains tools and equipment; operates hand and power tools and shop equipment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of two years related experience with pumps and motors in the field service or shop repair/rebuild areas.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Ability to operate forklifts, aerial work platforms and other equipment.
• Knowledge of pumps, motor controls and basic electricity.
• Excellent attitude and customer orientation.
• Must be insurable to drive company vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications.
