Pump Mechanic

Duties

• Field and shop disassembly, inspection, rebuilding, and diagnostic of various types of pumps, motors, and related component equipment as needed.
• Specify the necessary parts and labor needed to complete the repair or service, and provide a written report of findings from troubleshooting.
• Assembly/fabrication, minor plumbing, and testing of components.
• Testing of components, troubleshooting, removal, installation, and repairs on various customer equipment.
• Back-up in the shipping and receiving department.

Requirements

• Mechanical Aptitude
• Willingness to learn (training provided)
• Basic Computer Skills
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferences

• Valid forklift certification
• Welding experience (not required)
• Pump Repair Experience (Centrifugal, Vertical Turbine, Multi-Stage, etc.) (not required)
• Pump Mfg. Training (Flowserve, Finish Thompson, Grundfos, etc.) (not required)
